Do I need to be good at poker?
No. Our motto is "decent poker" for a reason. We have grinders and first-timers at the same table, and the league format means one rough night never sinks your season.
What does it cost to play?
$40 buy-in per tournament. Every dollar goes back to the players: nightly payouts plus the season pots (Bounty, Bad Beat, Player of the Year, and the Main Event fund). Nobody profits from hosting.
When and where are games?
Every other Saturday night: Game 1 at 6:00pm, Game 2 at 8:30pm. Games rotate between member homes around Colorado Springs, Monument, and the surrounding area. The exact address is shared once you register for a game.
How do I get a seat?
Download the free Power Poker League app, create an account, search for Colorado Springs Poker League, and register for the next game night. Seats are first come, first served.
What if a game is full?
Join the waitlist in the app. The moment a seat opens, the first person in line automatically gets an exclusive window to claim it, straight to your phone.
How does the season work?
Every tournament earns you Power Ranking points that feed the season leaderboard. The season builds to the Main Event Final Table in May, where the League Champion is crowned and enshrined in the Hall of Fame.
Is home poker like this legal in Colorado?
Yes. Colorado allows social poker among people with a genuine social relationship as long as no one profits from running the games. That is exactly what CSPL is: friends, food, and player-funded prizes since 2014.
